Configure how your receipts look for customers and kitchen.

Customize receipts to match your brand and include the information your team needs.

Receipt Types

Plasma supports three receipt types:

Customer Receipt

Given after payment is complete.

Includes:

  • Order items with prices
  • Subtotal, tax, tip, total
  • Payment method
  • Transaction ID
  • Thank you message

Customer Bill

Presented before payment (the check).

Includes:

  • Order items with prices
  • Subtotal and tax
  • Tip suggestions
  • No payment info yet

Kitchen Ticket

Sent to kitchen printers.

Includes:

  • Order number
  • Items with modifiers
  • Special instructions
  • Table/seat info
  • No prices

Configuring Customer Receipts

  1. Portal → Restaurant → Receipts
  2. Select Customer Receipt tab
  3. Configure options
  4. Preview and save

  1. Portal → Restaurant → Receipts
  2. Select Customer Bill tab
  3. Configure options

Customize how tips are suggested:

  2. Select Kitchen Ticket tab
  3. Configure options

Modifier Display

Configure how modifiers appear:

  • Inline — Same line as item
  • Indented — Below item, indented
  • Highlighted — Color-coded by type

Allergy keywords (gluten, nut, dairy) are always highlighted for safety.

Email Receipts

Enabling Email

  1. Settings → Receipts → Email
  2. Enable email receipts
  3. Configure template

Email Template

Customize email receipts:

  • Subject line
  • Header image
  • Color scheme
  • Footer links

When to Offer

Choose when to prompt for email:

  • Always ask
  • Ask on card payments only
  • Never ask (manual only)
